A fanlisting (FL) is a non-profit, non-commercial online listing of all fans of a certain subject, mostly for entertainment purposes. In this case, this site is an FL for Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Why bother with a fanlisting? For website owners, a fanlisting serves the same function as any other listing -- more exposure for your site, since it gives you more backlinks, possibly improving your pagerank. For non-website owners, it's a fun way to see your interests immortalized online. :)

I think Jackie Kennedy is regal, elegant, and incredibly feminine -- one cannot help but admire her. Myths about her love for JFK have added to her appeal and mystique, and keeping her image clean and intact, she has proven to be an incredible influence on the American people. In short, she is America's very own royalty, and the title I chose for this site best reflects her. It is borrowed from a biography of the same title, written by Sarah Bradford.
